The popular Weymouth Beach is about half a mile away, with long stretches of golden sand, ideal for strolls, sandcastle building and sunbathing, while the water is ideal for swimming or for watersports.
Join the South West Coast Path and make your way towards the Isle of Portland, which can be accessed via Chesil Beach, while further along the coast brings you to the West Dorset Heritage Coast, boasting an excellent selection of beaches, as well as Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.
Further afield, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove can be reached within a 25-minute drive.
